Викладачі та студенти кафедри соціально-економічної географії і регіонознавства взяли участь у Науковій школі з дослідження деокупованих територій

A scientific School of Young Researchers devoted to the study of issues of de-occupied territories was held in Ivano-Frankivsk from August 7 to 11. Lecturers and students of the K. Niemets Department of Human Geography and Regional took part in master classes, workshops and discussions devoted to the study of the natural and socio-geographic features of the de-occupied territories of Kharkiv and Kherson regions, in particular - in-depth understanding of regional aspects and the geosituation of the territories affected by the occupation and prospects for their renewal. The organizers of the school were: NGO "Ukrainian Union of Young Geographers", Faculty of Biology, Geography and Ecology of Kherson State University, Faculty of Geology, Geography, Recreation and Tourism of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, Faculty of Natural Sciences of the Carpathian National University named after Vasyl Stefanyk, NGO "Society of Researchers of Ukraine". The program of the event included important discussions, lectures, workshops and excursions. Speakers from Karazin University were: Kateryna SEHIDA, D.Sc. in Geography, professor, with the report "Demographic challenges of the further development of Kharkiv Region in the conditions of martial law", Kateryna KRAVCHENKO – PhD in Geography, associate professor, with the report "Geopositioning of Kharkiv Oblast through space and time" , Olha SUPTELO, PhD, associate professor, with the report "Human-geographical features of the development of the de-occupied territories of Kharkiv region" and the workshop "Social portrait of Kharkiv region: dynamics of cultural and everyday practices". The event provided an opportunity for participants to exchange experiences, gain new knowledge and provide their expert views on issues of restoration and spatial development of communities and territories, which is extremely relevant in today's conditions.
