Oleksandr Nosyrev

Oleksandr Nosyrev – PhD in Geography, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the K. Niemets Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies, Faculty of Geology, Geography, Recreation and Tourism of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.

In 2003, he entered the Faculty of Geology and Geography of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, which he graduated with honors in 2009 and received a Master's degree in Economic and Social Geography. In 2009, he entered postgraduate study at the Department Human Geography and Regional Studies. In 2012, he defended his PhD thesis on the topic: "Trade and Economic Activity of Ukraine in the Aspect of European Integration". From 2009–2011 he was a senior lecturer, from 2012 he was an Associate Professor of the Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies. In 2015, he received the academic title of Associate Professor. In 2024, he received a higher education in the specialty "Tourism" and a master's degree in tourism.

Head of the research project of young scientists of state budget financing "Strategic priorities of the industrial policy of Ukraine in the aspect of stabilizing the industrial potential of Donbas" (2017). Scientific supervisor of the research project "Strategic priorities of the development of the tourism business and the hospitality industry in the conditions of socio-economic transformations" (2023-2026). Responsible executor of applied research projects "Management of financial results of industrial enterprises" (2018-2021), "Development of international tourism based on the experience economy" (2020-2023), "Organizational and economic mechanism of the hospitality and tourism sector in the context of the prospects for sustainable development of the economy of Ukraine" (2023-2027).

Member of the expert group for assessing the effectiveness of higher education institutions in terms of their scientific (scientific and technical) activities in the scientific direction "Social Sciences" (Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 1111 dated September 7, 2020).

Member of the expert group on economics, entrepreneurship and financial literacy of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (Order No. 95 dated January 21, 2021).

Member of the Scientific and Methodological Commission J3 Tourism and Recreation of the Higher Education Sector of the Scientific and Methodological Council of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 1745 of December 17, 2024).
