Viktor Bezruk


Viktor Bezruk is a PhD student at the K. Niemets Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies, Faculty of Geology, Geography, Recreation and Tourism of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.

He was born on July 27, 1995 in the village of Pyshnenky, Poltava region. In 2012, he entered the V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, the Faculty of Geology and Geography, which he graduated with honors and received a master's degree in the educational program "Economic and Social Geography" in 2018. In 2023, he entered full-time postgraduate study at the K. Niemets Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies.

He is working on a PhD research on the topic: "The place of residential infrastructure in the functioning and dynamics of the urban geographical system of a metropolis during post-war reconstruction (case study of the city of Kharkiv)".

Scientific advisor: D.Sc. in Geography, Professor Sergiy Kostrikov.

Research interests: geoinformation technologies in human geography, spatial analysis, geography of urban systems.
