Oleksii Niemets is a PhD student of the Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies, Faculty of Geology, Geography, Recreation and Tourism of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.
He was born on December 24, 1986. In 2003, he graduated from the educational complex with the gymnasium of local self-government No. 116 in the city of Kharkiv. In 2003, he entered V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, the Faculty of Economics, which he graduated with honors in 2008 and obtained a master's degree in economic cybernetics. In 2023, he entered a full-time PhD studies at the Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies.
He is working on a PhD research on the topic: "Human-geographic research of the innovation and investment potential of the region."
