Iryna Gavrikova is a PhD student at the K. Niemets Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies, Faculty of Geology, Geography, Recreation and Tourism, V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.
She was born on February 9, 1993 in Kharkiv.
In 2010, she entered the V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University at the Faculty of Geology, Geography, Recreation and Tourism, which she graduated from in 2015 and received a Master's degree in Human Geography (diploma with honors). The topic of her master's thesis: "Geodemographic Forecasting of the Kharkiv Region"
In 2023, she entered full-time PhD study at the K. Niemets Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies. She is working on a PhD research on the topic: "Prospects of demographic development of Ukraine: human-geographical aspects"
Scientific supervisor: PhD in Geography, Associate Professor, Kateryna Kravchenko.
Scientific interests: geodemography, migration processes, problems of regional development, demographic policy, forecasting methodology
