Daria Venhryn is a PhD student of the department.
She was born on December 31, 1996 in Kharkiv. She graduated from Kharkiv Secondary School No. 20 (with a gold medal). In 2014, she entered V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University at the Faculty of Geology, Geography, Recreation and Tourism, which she graduated with honors in 2020 and obtained a master's degree in Human Geography. The topic of the master's thesis: "Human-Geoggraphical Features of Urbanization Processes in Ukraine". During her studies at the university, she was the head of the student council and the head of the scientific society of the faculty of geology, geography, recreation and tourism, a member of the regional student council. In 2022, she entered a full-time PhD program at the Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies.
She is working at the PhD research on the topic: “Human-geographical research of urbanization processes in Ukraine“

Scientific interests: geodemography, urbanism, migration processes, problems of regional development.
