Ievgeniia Telebienіeva – PhD in Geography, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor of the Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies, Faculty of Geology, Geography, Recreation and Tourism, V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.
She was born on January 16, 1990. In 2007 she entered the Faculty of Geology and Geography, V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. In 2012 she graduated from with honors and earned a master's degree Human Geography. In 2012 entered the PhD school at the Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies. In 2015 she defended her thesis on "Human-geographical features of region's socio-economic development (illustrated by Kharkiv region)" ahead of time.
In 2019 she was awarded the academic title of associate professor of the Department of Hyman Geography and Regional Studies.
She teaches courses:
• Geography of the service sector and the tourism industry
• Recreational country studies
• Geographical country studies
• Foreign economic relations of Ukraine
• Geography of the Kharkiv region with the basics of regional studies
• Introduction to regional studies and country studies
• Spatial and systemic analysis in human geography
• System analysis in tourist and recreational activities
• Regional problems of sustainable development
• Recreational Geography (taught in English)
Research interests: geography of industry, regional social and economic development, geography of Kharkiv region, recreational geography.
