Nataliia Husieva – PhD in Geography, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor of the Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies, Faculty of Geology, Geography, Recreation and Tourism, V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.
She was born on October 31, 1982 in the village Lozova, Slavyanoserbsk district, Luhansk region. In 2000 she entered the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Geography of Luhansk National Pedagogical University named after Taras Shevchenko. In 2005 she graduated from the University with honors and received a master's degree in Geography, with qualification of geography teacher. In 2008-2011 she was being a graduate student of Kharkiv University. In 2011 she defended the thesis for the degree of PhD in Geography, on specialty 11.00.02 "Human Geography" on "Territorial Organization of Regional Cultural Sphere of the Social and Geographical System (illustrted by Luhansk region)."
From November 2014 she has been working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies.
Research interests: external economic relations, social geography, urban geography, political geography and geopolitics, regional policy, geography of domestic tourism.
