Prof. Kateryna KRAVCHENKO took part in the academic exchange program on the topics: "Social geography", "Recreational geography", "Regional economic and social geography", "Geography of the service sector and the tourism industry" at Hangzhou Normal University (China) with the financial support of this university.

On November 17 - December 6, 2023, lecturers of the K.Niemets Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies, Doctor of Geographical Sciences, Professor Sergiy KOSTRIKOV and PhD in Geography, Associate Professor Kateryna KRAVCHENKO were invited to the University of Toulouse-Jean Jaurès (Toulouse, France) and the Institut National Universitaire Champollion (Albi, France) in order to establish future joint educational and scientific activities, conclude cooperation agreements, prepare and submit requests under the Erasmus+ program with the financial support of the French government.
From September 25 to November 17, 2023, PhD in Geography, Associate Professor of the Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies Pavlo KOBYLIN took part in the academic exchange program on the topic: "Geographic Information Systems and Computer Science with the Basics of Geoinformatics" at Hangzhou Normal University (China) with financial support of this university.

During the fall semester of the academic year 2017-2018, PhD student of the Department Anastasia Mazurova conducted a part of the thesis on the topic: "Territorial and spatial organization of a large city (case studies of the cities of Kharkiv and Katowice)" at the Department of Economic Geography, Faculty of Earth Sciences, the University of Silesia in Katowice (Poland), funded by the Visegrad Fund.

Associate Professors of the Department of Human Geography and Regional Studies Pavlo Virchenko, Nataliia Husieva, Liudmila Kliuchko took internship with the purpose of improvement skills taking into account experience of educational and research activities in European higher education institutions (case study of the University of Oradea, Romania) at the Department of Geography, Tourism and Territorial Planning of the Faculty of Geography, Tourism and Sport, the University of Oradea from 7 to 13 December 2016.
